A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING A PROPOSAL FROM MIDWEST
PUBLIC RISK TO PROVIDE WORKERS' COMPENSATION, PROPERTY, AND
LIABILITY COVERAGE FOR THE POLICY YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2020.
WHEREAS, the City of Riverside, Missouri ("City") issued a request for proposals for
workers' compensation, property, and liability coverages; and
WHEREAS, several proposals were received and evaluated by City staff; and
WHEREAS, City staff recommends accepting the proposal of Midwest Public Risk; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen finds it to be in the best interests of the City to
accept the proposal of Midwest Public Risk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the City of Riverside accepts and approves the proposal from Midwest Pubic Risk
to provide the City's workers' compensation, property, and liability coverages for the policy year
beginning July 1, 2020, in accordance with the attached proposal; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, City Clerk, Human Resources
Manager and other appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as
may be deemed necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this
Resolution and to execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments,
agreements and other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters
herein authorized.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri,.the 21st day of April 2020.
