Boazd of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri
January 28, 2003
A regulaz meeting of the Boazd of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri, was held in the
City Hall, of Riverside, Missouri, on January 28, 2003 at 6:30 p.m.
Those in attendance at 6:30 p.m. were Mayor Betty Burch, Aldermen Bums, Looker, Darata
Legaazd, Beard and Flaws.
Also present were David Blackburn, City Administrator, John Jackson, City Engineer and Matt
Kitzi, City Attorney's office.
Motion for Closed Alderman Beard moved that the meeting go into closed session,
Session pursuant to RSMo 610.021(1), Legal Issues, with the City Attorney,
seconded by Alderman Flaws, the vote was:
Aye: Aldermen Darata, Legaard, Beazd, Flaws, Looker and Burris.
Motion carries.
Motion for Open Alderman Darata moved that the meeting go into open session,
Session seconded by Alderman Looker, the vote was:
Aye: Aldermen Legaazd, Beazd, Flaws, Looker, Darata and Bums.
Motion carries.
Discussion on Mayor Burch read the letter from the Missouri Municipal League
various subjects and the recycling letter from Kathy Rose.
A discussion was held on the Value Engineering Study.
John discussed the sand bag footing structure.
Cub Scouts to use the Alderman Looker moved to allow the Cub Scouts to use the
Community Center on gym at the Community Center on Sunday, February 23`d' seconded by
February 23'x, Approved Alderman Flaws, the vote was:
Aye: Aldermen Beazd, Flaws, Looker, Dazata, Burris and Legaazd.
Motion carries.
Budget Discussion The present budget was discussed regarding capital improvements.
Adjournment By unanimous decision, the meeting adjourned at 8:29 p.m.
