AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH THE PLATTE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL FOR
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERVICES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN FOR THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with
the Platte County Economic Development Council, Platte City,
Mo, to provide economic development services for the City of
Riverside for the year 2005 pursuant to the terms of the contract.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract shall be $3,000 Platinum Level
(10 members).

• CONTRACT
THIS CONTRACT, entered into on the ~ day of 2005, by and between the
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI ("CITY") and the T COUNTY ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL ("EDC").
IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual covenants and agreements set forth herein, the parties
agree to the following:
1. The EDC shall provide economic development services for the CITY for the year 2005
pursuant to the terms of this Contract.
2. The CITY shall pay the EDC the sum of Three Thousand and no/100 dollars ($3,000) for
economic development services for the yeax 2005.
3. That the economic development services provided by the EDC shall include activities
reasonably designed for the purpose of promoting and developing economic growth within the CITY,
including, but not limited to, reasonably assisting the CITY in developing goals and strategies related to
business expansion and retention for existing businesses and economic and industrial development for
the CITY.
In Witness Whereof, the parties have executed this agreement the day and year first above
written.
