A special meeting of the Boazd of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri was held in the
City Hall of Riverside, Missouri on Apri130, 2003 at 6:30 p.m.
Those in attendance were Mayor Betty Burch, Aldermen Beard, Dazata, Legaazd, Bums, Looker
and Flaws.
Also present were David Blackburn, City Administrator, Matt Kitzi, City Attorney's office.
Presentation John Dehazdt, Jim Weitzel, and Randy Martin were present to gpdate the board
by Cooper, Robertson on the project status for the master plan. The agenda for this presentation is
& Partners attached. It was stated there is 8-10 oil wells & Partners under ground on certain
properties located South of 9 Highway that must be removed. The cost was
mentioned as $53,000,000 for the 900-acre master plan development with 9,260
square feet of building space and 70% Industrial, 30% Retail and Offices.
John provided a power point presentation and reviewed retail office buildings
and Industrial. He stated they are trying to create a safe azea and recommended
the city sell part of the land.
Scott Newman spoke about the design standards saying the city needed to
develop and improve the design standards and defined the first phase
boundaries.
Alderman Looker asked the dollaz amount per square foot of the azea it was
stated $5.50-$6.50 per squaze foot.
Mayor Burch announced that an investment of $2,000,000.00 has been made in
a Certificate of Deposit with Blue Ridge Bank, 4523 NW Gateway, Riverside,
Mo. at a rate of 1.80% paid quarterly, maturing on Apri130, 2004.
By unanimous decision, the boazd adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
