E.H. Young Riverfront Park opening is scheduled for May 23 rd at 10am, with the ribbon cutting at
Park – Brainstorm 10:15am. Due to COVID, this will be a soft launch of the park.
Park Opening
Don’t have an immediate ribbon cutting. Why not delay an official ribbon cutting,
with some level of celebration.
Open the park, don’t advertise it. Err on the side of caution until we have better
information.
Playground equipment
Don’t open the dog park yet. Needs more time for grass establishment.
Food truck wasted when we can’t have a large gathering of 50.
Prefer to set a date in June.
Elaine has some additional dog vendors.
