E.H. Young Riverfront Park Master Plan
Jan 2, 2018: Contract signed with Confluence (www.thinkconfluence.com)
From January to end of May use a Steering Committee guided process of focus groups,
stakeholder meetings, public input, site analysis, and design development to create the
Park Master Plan.
DRAFT SCHEDULE
Jan 2018: data review, collection of park base data
Jan 22, 2018:
1)Kick-off meeting with City staff
2)First Steering Committee Meeting
3)Park Walking Tour with Steering Committee and anyone else interested
Jan 23, 2018:
1)Focus groups / Stakeholder Meetings

May 2018: Final Master Plan, Cost Estimates and Documentation developed, SC
Meeting, Park Board and Board of Aldermen invited
June 2018: Possible Master Plan adoption by Park Board and BOA - maybe move Park
Board meeting to June 5 (first Tuesday)

How you can help:
1)Spread the word to your friends, neighbors, social groups, etc. Help people know
we want their input.
2)Share plans and events on social media
3)Come to the Park Board focus group and other public meetings to provide input.
4)Any contacts who should be part of the park user focus group?
Provide feedback at monthly Park Board meetings.
