ADJOURNMENT Sarah Wagner June 8, 2020 10:00 a.m. MINUTES REGULAR MEETING THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI Wednesday, January 30, 2019 5:30 p.m. The Industrial Development Authority of the City of Riverside, Missouri, met in regular session at City Hall, 2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, Missouri. President Leland Finley called the meeting to order at 5:41 p.m. Answering roll call were Leland Finley, Frank Biondo, and Jason Rule. Also present: Sarah Wagner Approval of Minutes Frank Biondo moved to approve the minutes from November from November 29, 2017 29, 2017. Resolution 2019-001 Quit Claim Deed Jason Rule seconded and the motion passed 3-0. President Leland Finley read Resolution 2019-001: A resolution authorizing the granting of a quit claim deed to the City of Riverside, Missouri and authorizing the execution and delivery of documents and actions relation thereto. Sarah Wagner explained that the City is replating land on the west side of Horizons for a new development. This section of land is still in the IDA's name and the City will be combining this piece of property with the one to the north to expand the regional detention system. Frank Biondo moved to approve Resolution 2019-001, seconded by Jason Rule. Motion passed 3-0. Adjournment Jason Rule moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:58 pm, seconded by Frank Biondo. Motion passed 3-0. IDA Resolution 2020-001 IDA RESOLUTION NO. 2020-001 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE GRANTING OF A PERMANENT MAINTENANCE EASEMENT TO HORIZONS INDUSTRIAL X, LLC FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE HORIZONS INDUSTRIAL VII PROJECT IN THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 349, RSMo., as amended, the Board of Directors of The Industrial Development Authority of the City of Riverside, Missouri (the "IDA"), hereby adopts this Resolution and directs that this Resolution be filed with the official IDA minutes: WHEREAS, the IDA currently owns all of Tract C, Riverside Horizons East First Plat, a subdivision in the City of Riverside, Platte County, Missouri,; and WHEREAS, the Project requires the granting of an easement to Horizons Industrial X, LLC over portions of Tract C for the maintenance of a retaining wall and slope grade of improvements to Lot 8 and the drainage swales to serve the Project (the "Easement"); and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Riverside, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The IDA's granting of the Easement, in the form attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A", to Horizons Industrial X, LLC is hereby approved and the President and Vice President are hereby authorized to enter into, execute and deliver and the Secretary and the Assistant Secretary are hereby authorized to attest to, the Easement, such official's signature thereon being conclusive evidence of his or her approval and the IDA's approval thereof. Section 2. The President, Vice -President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary and other appropriate officers and agents of the IDA are hereby authorized to take such further actions and execute such other documents as may be necessary or desirable to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution. Section 3. The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. ADOPTED THIS DAY OF June, 2020.
