HomeMy WebLinkAbout2016-06-02 Horizons Business Park Association MinutesMINUTES Quarterly Meeting Horizon Business Park Association Board of Directors' Meeting Riverside City Hall 2950 NW Vivion Road Riverside, MO 64150 Thursday June 2, 2016 The Board of Directors for Horizon Business Park Assocation, met in session in the Board of Aldermen Conference room at City Hall, 2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, Missouri, on Thursday, June 2, 2016. Pamela Darata called the quarterly meeting to order at 4:10pm. Those in attendance were Larissa Anderson, Pamela Darata, Don Steele, Dr. Dale Longenecker and Staci Bundy. Also present were City Administrator Greg Mills, Community Development Director Mike Duffy and Finance Assistant Jennifer Enna. RESOLUTION NO. 2016-01 Adopting Bylaws Pamela Darata motioned to approve Resolution No. 2016-01 Larissa Anderson seconeded. Yes: Anderson, Bundy, Darata and, Longenecker Motion carried 4-0 RESOLUTION NO. 2016-02 Electing Officers Larissa Anderson nominated Pamela Darata as President for the Horizon Business Park Association. There was a brief discussion as to what members would hold remaining positions: President: Pamela Darata Motion by Anderson, second by Longenecker Yes: Anderson, Bundy, Darata and Longenecker Motion carried 4-0 1st Vice President: Dale Longenecker Motion by Bundy, second by Anderson Yes: Anderson, Bundy, Darata and Longenecker Motion carried 4-0 Board member Don Steele entered meeting. 2nd Vice President: Staci Bundy Motion by Longenecker, second by Anderson Yes: Anderson, Bundy, Darata, Longenecker and Steele Motion carried 5-0 Secretary: Don Steele Motion by Longenecker, second by Bundy Yes: Anderson, Bundy, Darata, Longenecker and Steele Motion carried 5-0 Treasurer: Larissa Anderson/Donna Oliver Motion by Longenecker, second by Bundy Yes: Anderson, Bundy, Darata, Longenecker and Steele Motion carried 5-0 Dale Longenecker moved to request that the City of Riverside provide accounting services for Horizon Business Park Association. Yes: Anderson, Bundy, Darata, Longenecker and Steele Motion carried 5-0 RESOLUTION NO. 2016-03 Adopting Budget Dale Longenecker moved to approve Resolution No. 2016-03, second by Larissa Anderson. RESOLUTION NO. 2016-03 Adopting Budget Yes: Anderson, Bundy, Darata, Longenecker and Steele Motion carried 5-0 RESOLUTION NO. 2016-04 Engaging Legal Council Dale Longenecker moved to approve to Resolution No. 2016-04 Larissa Anderson second. Yes: Anderson, Bundy, Darata, Longenecker and Steele Motion carried 5-0 Adjournment Pamela Darata moved to adjourn the meeting at 4:35pm Staci Bundy seconded and the meeting was adjourned. Yes: Anderson, Bundy, Darata, Longenecker and Steele Motion carried 5-0 Next meeting scheduled for September 12th at the City of Riverside at 4:30pm in the Board of Aldermen conference room.
