A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING STEPHEN KING TO THE PLANNING & ZONING
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the composition of the Riverside Planning & Zoning Commission is set
forth in the City Code and provides for the appointment of nine (9) Planning & Zoning
Commission citizen members by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen; and
WHEREAS, Stephen King was originally appointed to the Planning & Zoning
Commission in May 2006 expiring in May 2008 and was reappointed to serve a 4-year term
expiring May 2013; May 2017, and May 2021 or until a successor was duly appointed; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to reappoint Stephen King to the position on the
Planning and Zoning Commission, expiring in May 2025, or until a successor is duly appointed;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the city to approve
and ratify such reappointment as proposed by the Mayor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the reappointment of Stephen King, Ward III, 5002 N Strathbury Ave, Riverside
Missouri; is hereby recommended by the Mayor and ratified by the Board of Aldermen as a
member of the Planning & Zoning Commission to a 4-year term ending in May 2025, or until a
successor is duly appointed, and
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of
the City of Riverside, Missouri, the 20th day of July 2021.
