R-2021-088 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A 2022 INTERNATIONAL MODEL HV507 4X2 TRUCK CAB AND CHASSIS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT THROUGH DIAMOND INTERNATIONAL IN KANSAS CITY, KANSAS OFF THE MID AMERICA COUNCIL OF PUBLIC PROCUREMENT GOVERNMENT BID FOR COOPERATIVE FLEET PRICING IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $80,340.00 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has a need to replace a 2001 Freightliner Dump Truck with a 2022 International 4X2 dump truck, and WHEREAS. the City of Riverside in the adoption of its purchasing policy has approved the practice of purchasing equipment from competitive bids awarded by other governmental entities through the cooperative bidding process; and WHEREAS. the Mid-America Council of Public Procurement (MACPP) has competitively bid and awarded a contract #2020-251-3 to Diamond International, Kansas City, Missouri to purchase such equipment; and WHEREAS, funds for such purpose were budgeted in the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 budget; and WHEREAS, the City of Riverside finds it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Riverside to authorize and approve the purchase of a 2022 International Model HV507 4X2 truck cab and chassis from Diamond International, Kansas City, Missouri off the MACPP Equipment Bid List pricing in an amount not to exceed $80,340.00.
