A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF NEW EQUIPMENT THROUGH
AMERICAN EQUIPMENT CO IN KANSAS CITY, KANSAS TO INSTALL ON THE 2022
INTERNATIONAL TRUCK PURCHASED FOR PUBLIC WORKS IN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $110,000.00
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has a need for new equipment and
installation to equip the 2022 International HV507 4X2 truck cab and chassis that was approved
in the FY 2021-2022 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen ("Board") finds and determines that it is in the best
interest of the City to authorize the purchases herein described.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT, the Board approves the purchase of equipment and installation necessary to
equip the 2022 International HV507 4X2 truck cab and chassis in an amount not to exceed
$110,000.00 from American Equipment Co., Kansas City, Kansas through the MARC
Equipment Government Bid Dealer pricing; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, the Public Works Director, and other
appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed
necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to
execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and
other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized,
and the City Clerk is authorized to attest thereto.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of
the City of Riverside, Missouri, the day of July 2021.

RE: Purchase approval of New Equipment to install on new 2022 International
truck cab and chassis.
BACKGROUND: Funding to purchase new equipment and install to accompany the new
international truck cab and chassis was included in the FY 2021-2022 budget. The equipment will
include: a dump bed, front, snowplow, mid-mount wing snowplow, material spreader, and pre-wet kit.
The equipment will be purchased from American Equipment Co. which is a MARC fleet equipment bid
dealer for government fleets.
BUDGETARY IMPACT: The adopted FY 2021-2022 fiscal budget included $110,000.00 for the
purchase price of the spreader and pre-wet kit.
