A RESOLUTION APPROVING TASK ORDER NUMBER 10 WITH MCCLURE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Riverside Board of Aldermen hereby approves Task Order Number 10 by and
between the City of Riverside and McClure, in substantially the form attached hereto, and the
Mayor is authorized to execute the Task Order Number 10 on behalf of the City; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator and other appropriate City officials
are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed necessary or convenient
to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to execute and deliver for and on
behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and other documents, as may be
necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized; and
FURTHER THAT this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.

Task Order Number 10
For Engineering Services
This Task Order is entered into as of the March 7, 2023 (the "Effective Date"), by and
between McClure, an Iowa corporation having an office at 11000 Swift St, Suite 100, North
Kansas City, Missouri 64116 ("McClure") and the City of Riverside, Missouri, a Missouri
municipal corporation (the "City").
WHEREAS, the City has engaged McClure to provide engineering services pursuant to
the Agreement for Engineering Services dated October 6, 2020, pursuant to which the City may
task McClure to provide additional professional engineering services on a project -specific basis
by acknowledging a separate Task Order.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and mutual covenants between the
parties and for other good and valuable consideration the receipt of which is acknowledged by
the parties, they agree as follows:
1. Incorporation of Base Agreement. This Task Order is subject to all terms and conditions
contained in the Agreement for Engineering Services dated October 6, 2020, that are not
inconsistent with the specific terms contained herein, and the Agreement for Engineering
Services dated October 6, 2020, between the parties is incorporated herein as if set forth in
full by this reference.
2. Scope of Services. The Scope of Services pursuant to this Task Order are as contained in
Exhibit A.
3. Term. McClure shall begin work pursuant to this Task Order No. 10 upon its Effective
Date and shall continue until the Vivion Rd Trail Segment 1 [TAP-3454(401)]-222-0102
("Project") is completed as evidenced by final acceptance of the Project by the City.
4. Compensation. Unless compensation is set forth in this Task Order, compensation shall
be as provided in the Agreement for Engineering Services dated October 6, 2020, between the
parties.
5. Project Schedule. See project schedule in Exhibit A.

Exhibit A to Task Order 10
Scope of Services for
Vivion Rd Trail Segment 1 [TAP-3454(401)]-222-0102
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The City of Riverside desires to construct a new trail along Vivion Road heading east out of the city. This project
will consist of providing Final Plans, Technical Specifications and Cost Estimate (PS&E Phase) for submittal to the
City of Riverside, City of Kansas City, Missouri and Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT); as well as
utility coordination for the City to utilize going into the final plan process. The new trail will begin at the cul-de-sac
at the southern terminus of St Joe Boulevard and proceed along the west side of St Joe Boulevard and south side of
Vivion Road until reaching Mulberry Drive. Of the 3,300 LF of trail, 2,075 LF (63%) is within the City of Riverside
and 1,225 (37%) LF is within the City of Kansas City, Missouri.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
1. Proiect Management - McClure will prepare monthly progress reports for City Staff.
2. Meetings/Conference Calls - McClure will participate in meetings/conference calls with City of
Riverside staff during development of the PS&E Phase. The purpose of these meetings will be to review
progress and address outstanding issues during the PS&E phase.
3. Utifill Coordination — McClure will track final solutions for reconciling utility conflicts and provide
log of communications with known utilities to City for the City's records.
4. Final Plan Sheets - McClure will add final plan sheets and update existing plan sheets from the Preliminary &
ROW plan sets to make a "construction -ready" plan set based on the following breakdown:
• Items added to the plans include: construction callout notes (throughout), ADA ramp & driveway
details, retaining wall plans & details, storm sewer plan & profile, drainage area map & storm
sewer calculations, landscape plans & details, traffic control plans & details, erosion control plans
& details. The plans will supplement the existing preliminary plan package and include color -
coded sheets (from the ROW Phase) showing takings by property owner:
5. Technical Specifications - McClure will assist City Staff in putting together technical specifications
and coordinating project manual with technical specifications and final plans (it is assumed we will be able
to utilize KC-APWA 5600 as the basis of specifications).
6. Estimate - McClure will provide an updated estimate for review by City Staff and inclusion in the
PS&E submittal to MoDOT.
7. ROW Plans (Work Previouslldone) — Additional design provided by McClure during the ROW
phase of the project.
8. Survey (Work Previously done) — Additional office/field survey & updated legal descriptions
provided by McClure during the ROW phase of the project. Work included topo survey to locate trees
around Mimi's Pantry and the entrance to Eastbrook Plaza as well as staking the property lines & trail
limits. Work also included revising the legal descriptions after initial discussions with landowners (for 5 of
the 7 property owners along the trail).
9. Utility Coordination (Work Previously done) — Additional time needed to provide utility
coordination during the ROW phase of the project. Work included following up with non -responsive
utilities and responding to questions to coordinate 190 entries from utilities over the past 12 months.
10. Bidding & Construction Administration
• Bidding —McClure will assist with the pre -bid meeting, answering bidder questions, and preparing
addenda. The City will review bids received.
Construction Administration —McClure will provide construction administration services on an as -
needed basis to include, but not be limited to contractor submittal reviews and approvals. (NOTE:
Review of on -site work will typically be handled by City staff. Construction is anticipated to take
180 calendar days).
11. Project Schedule (assumina NTP by 03/08/2023)
• Draft Final Plan, Specifications & Estimate to City on or before April 19, 2023.
• Submit PS&E package to MoDOT on or before May 5, 2023.
12. Exclusions
• No Survey
• No Geotech (aside from that done in the ROW Phase)
• No Utility Extensions or Relocations (aside from storm sewer on east end of project)
• No Construction Services
• No Permit Fees
• No Public outreach or public presentation work included.
