A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING LELAND FINLEY TO THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
WHEREAS, the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Riverside, Missouri
("IDA") was created pursuant to Chapter 349 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, as amended;
and
WHEREAS, the ByLaws of the IDA provide for the appointment members to the Board
of Directors by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen; and
WHEREAS, Leland Finley was originally appointed to the Board of Directors of the
Industrial Development Authority of the City of Riverside in 2007 to a four (4) year term expiring
on March 2, 2011, or until such time as a successor is appointed and qualified and then
reappointed for a six -year term expiring in 2017, 2023, and now reappointed until March 2029;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to re -appoint Leland Finley to a full six (6) year term on
the Board of Directors of the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Riverside, expiring
on March 2029, or until such time as a successor is appointed and qualified; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the city to approve
and ratify such appointment as proposed by the Mayor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT Leland Finley, Ward I, 913 NW Valley Lane, Riverside Missouri; is hereby re-
appointed by the Mayor and ratified by the Board of Aldermen as a member of the Board of
Directors of the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Riverside, Missouri to a six (6)
year term expiring on March 2029, or until a successor is duly appointed and ratified;
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of
the City of Riverside, Missouri, the 18th day of April 2023.
