A RESOLUTION APPROVING TASK ORDER NUMBER 1 WITH EVERGREEN
SKATEPARKS LLC
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Riverside Board of Aldermen hereby approves Task Order Number 1 by and
between the City of Riverside and Evergreen Skateparks, LLC, in substantially the form
attached hereto, and the Mayor is authorized to execute the Task Order Number 1 on behalf of
the City; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator and other appropriate City officials
are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed necessary or convenient
to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to execute and deliver for and on
behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and other documents, as may be
necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized; and
FURTHER THAT this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.

Task Order Number 1
For Engineering Services
This Task Order is entered into as of the day of June, 2023 (the "Effective Date"), by
and between Evergreen Skateparks, LLC, organized in the state of Oregon, having an office at 5327
SE 69`h Ave., Portland, OR 97206 ("Evergreen") and the City of Riverside, Missouri, a Missouri
municipal corporation (the "City").
WHE' AS, the City has engaged Evergreen to provide engineering services pursuant to the
Agreement for Engineering Services dated . 2023, pursuant to which the City may
task Evergreen to provide additional professional engineering services on a project-specific basis by
acknowledging a separate Task Order.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and mutual covenants between the parties
and for other good and valuable consideration the receipt of which is acknowledged by the parties,
they agree as follows:
1. Incorporation of Base Agreement. This Task Order is subject to all terms and conditions
contained in the Agreement for Engineering Services dated . 2023, that are not
inconsistent with the specific terms contained herein, and the Agreement for Engineering
Services dated , 2023. between the parties is incorporated herein as if set forth in
full by this reference.
2. Scope of Services. The Scope of Services pursuant to this Task Order are as contained in
Exhibit A.
3. Term. Evergreen shall begin work pursuant to this Task Order No. 1 upon its Effective Date and
shall continue until this initial scope for the Renner Brenner Skate Park Improvements - 224-030
("Project") is completed as evidenced by final acceptance of the Project by the City.
4. Compensation. Compensation shall be in accordance with the attached schedule (see Exhibit B).
5. Project Schedule. See project schedule in Exhibit A.

Scope of Services for
Renner Brenner Skatepark Improvements -224-030
PROJECT DESC PTION
The City of Riverside desires to study the existing condition of the Renner Brenner Skatepark
and surrounding area to determine possible repairs and improvements. As the skatepark is
an amenity for park patrons, it is important that patrons can evaluate proposed improvements
and provide input. This project will consist of all necessary activities to study the existing
conditions of current amenities, provide patron input, and prepare proposed conceptual
drawings, cost estimates, and a master plan for skatepark improvements.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
• Prqject Management—Evergreen will regularly communicate with City staff to
provide progress updates and requested deliverables.
• bite Survey—Evergreen will utilize existing topographical drawings available from
the City. Evergreen will ensure that all data gathered or provided is sufficient to
develop an accurate design and will collect any survey points necessary for
accuracy.
• 5ite Evaluation
o Conduct inventory/analysis of existing skatepark and surrounding area.
o Evaluate existing concrete pad condition to determine if it can be reused.
o Evaluate of current ADA conditions.

o Create an online survey for citizen and site user input. Survey to be
shared via the City website and social media.
o Provide images and info for City to create a schedule of social media posts
and other interactions with the community.
o Host at least one in-person public input opportunity (with an online option).
o Participate in Steering Committee (SC)meetings and stakeholder meetings.
o Presentation to the Board of Aldermen (BOA).

o Prepare 2-3 concepts informed by the site evaluation, online survey and
SC feedback.
o Recommend and justify potential design opportunities.

o Revise concepts and cost estimates for SC, City officials, and public input.

o Prepare necessary deliverable exhibits and cost estimate:

• Meetings/Conference Culla- Participate in up to six(6) meetings with City of
Riverside staff to review project details and plan development.

o Week 1: Evergreen provide survey draft to City for feedback and revisions.SC
Meeting#1.
o Week 1: Community Input Opportunity #1: survey available online.
o Week 2: Stakeholder meeting with skaters, review project schedule, create
ownership, and receive feedback.
o Week 3: Online survey closes. Evergreen compile survey data to share with SC.
o Week 4: Evergreen to create 2-3 site concepts based on survey data,stakeholder
meeting, SC input, and site evaluation.
o Week 5: Concept designs provided to Riverside and SC for review&comments.
o Week 5:SC Meeting#2. Share 2-3 site concepts & online survey data with SC. Each
concept should have roughly the same construction budget. Provide concept images
to the City for sharing on website and social media.
o Week 5-6: Share proposed concepts online. Evergreen to provide images to be shared
on City website with a simple survey for feedback on concept preference. Evergreen
to provide images for digital flyers for City to post on social media and print
distribution announcing the community meeting.
o Week 7: Community Input Opportunity #2. Evergreen to provide collection tools such
as board displays and paper/online surveys for the public meeting. Evergreen and the
City will host an in-person, public meeting to review concept designs and receive
feedback. If the weather allows, this meeting will be held at the skatepark.
o Week 8-9: Evergreen to revise concepts based on meeting and SC feedback.
Evergreen to create one final concept based on feedback.
o Week 10: Final concept and cost estimate provided to SC for review.
o Week 11: SC Meeting#3. SC provides comments back to Evergreen on final concept.
o Week 12: Evergreen provides final design to City to post on website, etc.
o Week 13: BOA meeting presentation by Evergreen.
