R — 2023-089 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLIC WORKS TO PURCHASE NEW SUPPORTING ACCESSORY EQUIPMENT FOR THE 2024 FORD F-350 CAB AND CHASSIS UNIT THROUGH AMERICAN EQUIPMENT CO IN KANSAS CITY, KANSAS OFF THE MARC GOVERNMENT EQUIPMENT PRICING AND INSTALL IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $8,300.00 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has a need for new supporting equipment and installation to equip one 2024 Ford F-350 cab and chassis unit that was approved in the FY 2023-2024 budget, and WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen ("Board") finds and determines that it is in the best interest of the City to authorize the purchases herein described. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: THAT, the Board approves the purchase of new supporting accessory equipment and installation necessary to equip one 2024 Ford F-350 cab and chassis unit in an amount not to exceed $8,300.00 from American Equipment Co., Kansas City, Kansas through the MARC Equipment Government Bid Dealer pricing; and FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, the Public Works Director, and other appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized, and the City Clerk is authorized to attest thereto. o.
