R-2023-109 A RESOLUTION APPROVING TASK ORDER NUMBER 5 WITH RENAISSANCE INFRASTRUCTURE CONSULTING, INC. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS: THAT the Riverside Board of Aldermen hereby approves Task Order Number 5 by and between the City of Riverside and Renaissance Infrastructure Consulting, Inc., in substantially the form attached hereto, and the Mayor is authorized to execute the Task Order Number 5 on behalf of the City, and FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator and other appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized, and FURTHER THAT this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval. ADOPTED AND PASSED this /` ATTEST: _ c Robin Kincaid, 'City Clerk day of 02023. i i W&yor Kathleen L. ose Task Order Number 5 For Engineering Services This Task Order is entered into as of the / � day of 2023 (the "Effective Date"), by and between Renaissance Infrastructure Consulting, Inc., 40Kansas corporation having an office at 5015 NW Canal St, Riverside, Missouri 64150 (the "Consultant") and the City of Riverside, Missouri, a Missouri municipal corporation (the "City"). WHEREAS, the City has engaged Consultant to provide engineering services pursuant to the Agreement for Engineering Services dated December 15, 2020 pursuant to which the City may task the Consultant to provide additional professional engineering services on a project - specific basis by acknowledging a separate Task Order. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and mutual covenants between the parties and for other good and valuable consideration the receipt of which is acknowledged by the parties, they agree as follows: 1. Incorporation of Base Agreement. This Task Order is subject to all terms and conditions contained in the Agreement for Engineering Services dated December 15, 2020, that are not inconsistent with the specific terms contained herein, and the Agreement for Engineering Services dated December 15, 2020, between the parties is incorporated herein as if set forth in full by this reference. 2. Scope of Services. The Scope of Services pursuant to this Task Order are as contained in Exhibit A. 3. Term. Consultant shall begin work pursuant to this Task Order No. 5 upon its Effective Date and shall continue until the Replat of 40 West at Horizons Final Plat; and preparation of legal descriptions for Doorlink quit claim, Doorlink warranty deed, and Mattox Road right-of- way vacation, Project 625-080 ("Project"), is completed as evidenced by final acceptance of the Project by the City. 4. Compensation. Unless compensation is set forth in this Task Order, compensation shall be as provided in the Agreement for Engineering Services dated December 15, 2020, between the parties. 5. Project Schedule. Survey Field Work Completed: Three Weeks after NOP Preparation of Replat of Lot 5 — 8 of 40 West at Horizons Final Plat Deliverable: Three Weeks after NOP Preparation of Doorlink quit claim, Doorlink warranty deed, and Mattox Road right-of-way vacation legal descriptions Completed: Three Weeks after NOP IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Consultant and the City have executed this Agreement as of the Effective Date. Name: Brian Koral Title: City Administrator Date: 2 Exhibit A to Task Order 5 Scope of Services for Replat of Lots 5 - 8 of 40 West Horizons Final Plat, Doorlink Quit Claim, Doorlink Warranty Deed, and Mattox Road Right -of -Way Vacation Legal Descriptions Project (625-080) Task 101: Replat The City will require that the property be platted to allow for subdivision or sale and for dedication of public rights of way and easements. A replat will be prepared in accordance with requirements of the governing municipality. RIC will assist in coordinating the recording of the Final Plat with the County. Fee includes assistance with preparation of applications to support for processing the Final Plat through Planning Commission and City Council, and attendance at both meetings. Task 102: Legal Descriptions and Exhibits RIC's licensed land surveyor will prepare legal descriptions and exhibits as needed for the following: • Provide Quit Claim legal for excess Doorlink property • Provide Warranty Deed legal for Doorlink Lot only • Check full extent of old Mattox R/W and provide legal for old Mattox R/W vacation Direct Expenses: Including mileage, printing, long distance, overnight delivery services, and duplication. These expenses will be billed on project percent complete basis. 3 Exhibit B for Task Order Number 5 Compensation (Lump Sum) Task 101: Replat Sub -total: $3,250 Task 102: Legal Descriptions and Exhibits Sub -total: $1,500 Direct Expenses: Expected expenses: $250 Sub -total: $250 Total: $5,000
