R-2023-128 A RESOLUTION APPROVING TASK ORDER NUMBER 2 WITH EVERGREEN SKATEPARKS, LLC BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS: THAT the Riverside Board of Aldermen hereby approves Task Order Number 2 by and between the City of Riverside and Evergreen Skateparks, LLC, in substantially the form attached hereto, and the Mayor is authorized to execute the Task Order Number 2 on behalf of the City: and FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator and other appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized, and FURTHER THAT this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval. Rose ATTEST. -• Robin Kincaid, ity Clerk Task Order Number 2 For Engineering Services This Task Order is entered into as of the 5th day of September,2023 (the "Effective Date"), by and between Evergreen Skateparks,LLC,organized in the state of Oregon,having an office at 5327 SE 69th Ave., Portland, OR 97206 ("Evergreen") and the City of Riverside, Missouri, a Missouri municipal corporation (the"City"). WHEREAS, the City has engaged Evergreen to provide engineering services pursuant to the Agreement for Engineering Services dated June 6, 2023, pursuant to which the City may task Evergreen to provide additional professional engineering services on a project-specific basis by acknowledging a separate Task Order. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and mutual covenants between the parties and for other good and valuable consideration the receipt of which is acknowledged by the parties, they agree as follows: 1. Incorporation of Base Agreement. This Task Order is subject to all terms and conditions contained in the Agreement for Engineering Services dated June 6, 2023, that are not inconsistent with the specific terms contained herein, and the Agreement for Engineering Services dated June 6, 2023, between the parties is incorporated herein as if set forth in full by this reference. 2. Scope of Services. The Scope of Services pursuant to this Task Order are as contained in Exhibit A. 3. Term. Evergreen shall begin work pursuant to this Task Order No. 2 upon its Effective Date and shall continue until this scope for the Renner Brenner Skate Park Improvements - 224-030 ("Project") is completed as evidenced by final acceptance of the Project by the City. 4. Compensation. Compensation shall be in accordance with the attached schedule (see Exhibit B). 5. Project Schedule. See project schedule in Exhibit A. Title: City Administrator Dated: l V� Page 2 15 Exhibit A to Task Order 2 Scope of Services for Renner Brenner Skatepark Improvements-224-030 PROJECT DESCRIPTION The City of Riverside and Evergreen have studied the existing condition of the Renner Brenner Skatepark and evaluated plans with input from park patrons. A master plan and cost estimate have been created based on desired improvements from park patrons. The City of Riverside desires to obtain construction documents and bidding specifications for skate park improvements all necessary design details for a completed project, including but not limited to grading, site drainage, new concrete features and other skate amenities, lighting, and integrated shade. This project will consist of all necessary activities to create construction documents, bidding specifications, and opinions of probable cost. SCOPE OF SERVICES • Project Management—The Consultant will regularly communicate with City staff to provide progress updates and requested deliverables. • Construction Documents o Full set of 22 x 34 construction drawings signed and stamped by a Missouri registered engineer or landscape architect to include but not be limited to: • Demolition • Erosion Control • Grading • Drainage • New concrete skate amenities • Other skate amenities • ADA provisions • Electrical and site lighting • Shade structures • Site restoration • Any other items necessary to construct the intent of the approved skate park master plan. Page 3 15 o Technical specifications for construction bidding signed and stamped by a Missouri registered engineer or landscape architect. Front-end documents will be prepared by the City. o Deliver a plan layout in AutoCAD format. Deliver a full set of Construction Documents in PDF format. • Opinion of Probable Cost o Prepare a revised cost estimate at 60%construction documents o Prepare a final cost estimate at 100%construction documents • Meetings/Conference Calls o Participate in up to six(6)meetings with City of Riverside staff to review project details and plan development. Meetings will include operational staff to determine any needs/ opportunities. One meeting could include a presentation to the Board of Aldermen, if deemed necessary. o Kick-off meeting to review master plan and determine final design intent. o Monthly coordination meetings,30%, 60%and 90%construction documents • Project Schedule o 60%construction documents by September 19, 2023 o 90%construction documents by October 3, 2023 o 100%construction documents by October 17,2023 o Project ready to bid by November 7,2023 • Exclusions o No Geotechnical Investigation o No Permitting o No Construction Administration Page 4 15 Exhibit B to Task Order 2 Fee Proposal for Renner Brenner Skatepark Improvements -224-030 FEE SCHEDULE • Lighting design: $2,000 • Concepts and Opinions of Costs for Seating area $1,500 • CD set production for 8,200 sq/ft $10,250 • Project Meetings: $750 Total: $14,500 Page 5 15
