HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-12-13 SpecialMinutes of Special Meeting of Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri December 13, 2001 A special meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri was held in the City Hall of Riverside, Missouri at 6:00 p.m., December 13, 2001. Those in attendance were Mayor Betty Burch, Aldermen Charles Burns, Jim Wedua, Pam Darata, Rochelle Legaard, Ray Beard and George Flaws. Also present were David Blackburn, City Administrator, John Jackson, City Engineer, Steve Crystal, City Attorney and Deborah Polk, City Attorneys office. Motion for Closed Alderman Beard moved that the meeting go into closed session pursuant to Session RSMo 610.021(1) Legal Issues and 610.021 (2) Real Estate 610.021 (3) Personnel Issues with the City Attorney, seconded by Alderman Legaard, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Wedua, Darata, Legaard, Beard, Burris and Flaws. Motion carries. Motion for Open Alderman Beard moved that the meeting go into open session, Session seconded by Alderman Legaard, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Darata, Legaard, Beard, Flaws, Wedua and Burns. Motion carries. Bill No. 2001-130 Alderman Beard moved to place Bill No. 2001-130 on its first reading, said Bill Author. and approving authorizing and approving the sixth amendment to lease and development the 6`" amend. to lease agreement and documents and actions related thereto, seconded by Alderman and dev. Agree Flaws, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen, Darata, Legaazd, Wedua, Beazd, Burris and Flaws. Motion carries. Ordinance No. 2001-130 Alderman Flaws moved to place Bill No. 2001-130 on its second reading Approved and upon passage of same, become Ordinance No. 2001-130, seconded by Alderman Wedua, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Darata, Beazd, Legaard, Wedua, Flaws and Burris. Motion carries. Discussion Deborah Polk discussed the cost of applying anti-graffiti in the paint for the floodwalls. This matter will be discussed at the next meeting. David asked that the offices be closed December 24'" and December 31s'. The board unanimously agreed to do so. Adjournment B,y general consent, the meeting adjourned at 7:52 p.m. ~~ ~1~ Mayor
