HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-07-25 Special Minutes of Special Meeting of Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri July 25, 2000 A special meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri oe July 25, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. Those in attendance were Mayor Betty Burch, Aldermen Ray Beard, Pam Darata, Rochelle Legaard, Ron Super, George Flaws and Andy Morse. Bill No. 2000-63 Alderman Beard moved to place Bill No. 2000.63 on its first Authorizing reading, said Bill authorizing Missouri American Water Co. Mo. Amer. Water Co. to install a 2" water tap for the new City Hall, seconded by to install a 2" water Alderman Morse,the vote was: water tap for new City Hall Aye: Aldermen Morse, Flaws, Legaard, Super, Beard and Darata. Motion carries. Ordinance No. Alderman Flaws moved to place Bill No. 2000.63 on its second 2000.63 reading, and upon passage of same become Ordinance No. 2000. Approved 63, seconded by Alderman Beard, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Super, Morse, Darata, Legaard, Beard and Flaws. Motion carries. Bill No. 2000.64 Alderman Super moved to place Bill No. 2000.64 on its first reading, Authorizing the said Bill authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with Bruce City to enter into Culley, C.P.A., 3000 Brooktree Ln, Ste 210, Gladstone, Mo. 64119. an agreement with This is for assistance with the payroll, processing of disbursements Bruce Culley CPA and other general accounting functions during interim of the position, seconded by Alderman Morse, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Legaard, Super, Darata, flaws, Beard and Morse. Motion carries. Ordinance No. :Alderman Darata moved to place Bill No. 2000-64 on its second 2000.64 reading and upon passage of same become Ordinance No. 2000.64, Approved seconded by Alderman Flaws, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Legaard, Super, Darata, Beard, Flaws and Morse. Motion carries. Closed Session Alderman Darata moved that the meeting go into closed session pursuant to RSMO 610.021(1) for discussion of legal issues, 610.021(2) real estate, and 610.021(3) personnel issues, seconded by Alderman Morse, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Super, Morse, Darata, Legaard, Beard and Flaws. Motion carries. Open Session Alderman Super moved that the meeting go into open session, seconded by Alderman Darata, the vote was: Aldermen Darata, Super, Beard, Morse, Legaard and Flaws.
