Motion to enter into CLOSED SESSION for the following matters: 610.021(1) Legal actions, causes of action or litigation involving a public governmental body and any confidential or privileged communications between a public governmental body or its representatives and its attorneys 610.021 (2) Leasing, purchase or sale of real estate by a public governmental body where public knowledge of the transaction might adversely affect the legal consideration therefore 610.021(3) Hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting a particular employee, when personal information about the employee is discussed 610,021(9) Preparation, including discussions or work product, on behalf of a public governmental body or its representatives for negotiations with employee groups 610.021(13) Individually identifiable personnel records, performance ratings or records pertaining to employee or applicant for employment. 2. Motion to appoint a Board President Pro Tern for a one-year term. 3. Proclamation — Older Americans Month — May 2024 presented to Debra Gwin, Platte County Senior Fund 4. Proclamation — Public Service Recognition Week — May 5-11, 2024 presented to HR Manager Amy Strough. 5. CONSENT AGENDA All matters listed under the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the Board of Aldermen and will be enacted by one motion to approve the Consent Agenda as presented There is no separate discussion of these items. The Mayor or a member of the Board of Aldermen may request that any item be removed from the Consent Agenda for discussion or explanation. If removed, it will be considered separately following approval of the remaining items on the Consent Agenda. No motion is required to remove an item from the Consent Agenda. R-2024-039: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS OUT OF THE CITY TREASURY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 WEEKS ENDING APRIL 5T" AND APRIL 12T" IN THE AMOUNT OF $899,788.89.
