A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT TO THE CONTRACT
WITH MCCLURE FOR RIVERWAY BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS the Riverside Board of Aldermen approved a contract for Riverway
Boulevard Improvements on November 21, 2023; and
WHEREAS additional services are needed for the planning and design of the Riverway
Boulevard Improvements project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Riverside Board of Aldermen hereby approves a supplemental agreement
between the City of Riverside and McClure, through the attached supplemental agreement; and
the Mayor is authorized to execute the supplemental agreement on behalf of the City; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator and other appropriate City officials
are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed necessary or convenient
to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to execute and deliver for and on
behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and other documents, as may be
necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized; and
FURTHER THAT this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.

SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1
TO
ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT
This Supplemental Agreement is made part of an agreement dated November 21, 2023 between
the City of Riverside, Missouri, and McClure for design of project STBG 3400(446). The
purpose of this Supplemental Agreement is to perform additional survey and boundary for limits
that extended beyond the original survey limits, design of the Highway 9 on-ramp merge area
that was not included in the original agreement, wetland delineation and associated report,
threatened and endangered species and migratory bird field review and associated reporting and
submittals to MoDOT by Mustardseed Cultural and Environmental Services, LLC, coordination
with Section 106 Cultural Resources including submittal of Review and Compliance Information
Form and coordination with the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), public lands Section
4(f) coordination and associated submittals with MoDOT, slope stability analysis as required by
MoDOT for the retaining walls under the Missouri Route 9 bridges, and rectangular rapid
flashing beacon design as required due to recently approved PROWAG requirements. These
additional services shall be in an amount not to exceed Fifty-Eight Thousand Two Hundred
Three Dollars and Seven Cents ($58,203.07) without further authorization. The total design
services shall be in an amount not to exceed Seven Hundred Forty-Eight Thousand Eight
Hundred Eleven Dollars and Seven Cents ($748,811.07). Attachment A outlines the cost
breakdown for this Supplemental Agreement.
