A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF WORKERS' COMPENSATION,
PROPERTY, AND LIABILITY COVERAGE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the acquisition of workers' compensation, property, and liability coverage for the
period beginning July 1, 2024, from MIRMA in accordance with the attached proposal is hereby
approved and authorized; and
FURTHER THAT an assessment for the upcoming coverage year, July 1, 2024 through
June 30, 2025, in the amount of $618,550 is approved and authorized; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, and other appropriate City
officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed necessary or
convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to execute and deliver
for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements, and other documents, as
may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized.

MISSOURI INTERGOVERNMENTAL RISK MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION
MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT
Effective July 1, 2024, The City of Riverside. Missouri does hereby bind itself contractually for an
indefinite term to the Missouri Intergovernmental Risk Management Association thereby accepting and
adopting its Revised Articles of Association, Articles I through VIII, and any current or subsequent
amendments and its Revised By -Laws, Sections I through XVIII and any current or subsequent
amendments and does hereby agree to abide by said Articles and By -Laws accepting all rights.
privileges, and obligations therein contained as a condition of membership in said Association. It is
therefore agreed and understood that the Missouri intergovernmental Risk Management Association
does hereby extend all rights and privileges of membership to The City of Riverside to become effective
on July 1, 2024, and shall fulfill all obligations of the Association. as set forth in the Articles of
Association and By -Laws and their amendments. The payment of consideration for membership during
FY2025, to be made by The City of Riverside shall be in the amount of $618,550. Each year thereafter
consideration shall he established in accordance with provisions contained in the above noted Articles of
Association and By -Laws, and any subsequent amendments.
As a condition of membership, the City of Riverside hereby agrees to permit and require an official or
employee of The City of Riverside to attend the Association's Annual Meeting to be held at the Lake of
the Ozarks, July 24, 2024 through July 26, 2024.
This contract is binding upon The City of Riverside as of the date of signing and is a condition of
membership. for membership to become effective July l ,2024.
This agreement is hereby executed this 4th day of June, 2024 by the parties hereto as follows:
