SPECIAL MEETING
BOARD OF ALDERMEN
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
Friday, June 7, 2024
1:00 P.M.
The Board of Aldermen for the City of Riverside, Missouri, met in special session in the Board
of Aldermen Chambers at City Hall, 2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, Missouri, on Friday,
June 7, 2024.
Mayor Kathy Rose called the meeting to order at 1:04 p.m. Those in attendance were, Mayor
Kathy Rose (in person), Aldermen Jill Beck, Staci Bundy, Dawn Cockrell, Jason Draut, Rob
Milner, and Steve Palma (all present by Zoom).
Also present were City Administrator Brian Koral, Community Development Director Mike
Duffy, City Clerk Robin Kincaid, City Planner Sarah Wagner, and Special Counsel Joe Bednar
(by Zoom).
MOTION TO ENTER INTO Alderman Palma moved to enter closed session pursuant to
CLOSED @ 1:04 P.M. RSMo 610.021 (1) Legal Action and litigation, and RSMo
610.021 (2) Leasing, Purchase, or sale of real estate, second by
Alderman Cockrell.
Yes: Palma, Cockrell, Bundy, Draut, Milner, and Beck.
Motion carried 6-0.
Alderman Milner left the Zoom meeting at 1:15 p.m.
MOTION TO ADJOURN Alderman Cockrell moved at 1:17 p.m. to adjourn closed session
CLOSED @ 1:17 P.M. with action taken and move into open session, second by
Alderman Bundy.
Yes: Cockrell, Bundy, Beck, Draut, and Palma.
Motion carried 5-0.

LEGISLATIVE AGENDA
BILL NO. 2024-031 City Clerk Robin Kincaid gave first reading of Bill No. 2024-031.
PSA Simone Real Estate, LLC City Administrator Brian Koral and Special Counsel Bednar
explained this bill and the sale of Lot 2 of 40 West and showed
location on a PowerPoint slide, along with the process of this sale
and build. Questions from the Board were answered.

Alderman Cockrell moved to accept first reading and place Bill
2024-031 on second and final reading, second by Alderman Beck.
Yes: Cockrell, Beck, Palma, Draut, and Bundy.
Motion carried 5-0.
City Clerk Kincaid gave second reading of Bill No. 2024-031.
Alderman Cockrell moved to approve Bill 2024-031 and enact
said bill as ordinance, second by Alderman Beck.
Yes: Cockrell, Beck, Bundy, Palma, and Draut.
Motion carried 5-0.
MOTION TO ADJOURN Alderman Beck moved to adjourn the meeting at 1:22 p.m.,
second by Alderman Palma.
Yes: Beck, Palma, Draut, Cockrell, and Bundy.
Motion carried 5-0.
