R — 2024-068 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THREE 2025 JOHN DEERE ZERO TURN Z930M COMMERCIAL MOWERS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT USING THE SOURCEWELL GROUNDS MAINTENANCE AG & TURF EQUIPMENT PRICING IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $34,660.00 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has a need for the acquisition of three 2025 John Deere Z930M zero turn mowers; and WHEREAS, the City of Riverside in the adoption of its purchasing policy has approved the practice of purchasing equipment from competitive bids awarded by other governmental entities through the cooperative bidding process: and WHEREAS, Sourcewell Grounds Maintenance # 031121-DAC (PG NB CG 70) for Ag and Turf Equipment Government Contract was competitively bid and awarded a to Heritage Tractor, Inc., located 1300 S. US -169, Smithville, Missouri. 64089, for the purchase of such equipment; and WHEREAS, funds for such purpose were budgeted in the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 budget; and WHEREAS, the City of Riverside finds it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Riverside to authorize and approve the purchase of three 2025 John Deere Z930M zero turn commercial mowers, using the Sourcewell Grounds Maintenance Contract for Ag and Turf Equipment awarded to Heritage Tractor Inc., Smithville, Missouri. in an amount not to exceed $34,660.00.
