BACKGROUND: This request is to purchase new weapons for the police department,
specifically our patrol rifles. Our current fleet of equipment is over fifteen years old and

themselves, electronic sights for better accuracy and shot placement, thus reducing
stray rounds, and weapon-mounted light sources. The purchase will be from GT
Distributors utilizing a cooperative Missouri purchase agreement. This request is part of
the 2024-2025 fiscal budget that was approved by the board.
