Those in attendance were Mayor Betty Burch, Aldermen Pam Darata, George Flaws, Ron Super, Ray Beard and Rochelle Legaard. Absent, Alderman Morse, Also, present was David Blackburn, City Administrator. Motion for Closed Session Alderman Darata moved that the meeting go into closed session, seconded by Alderman Beard, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Super, Darata, Beard, Legaard and Flaws. Absent: Alderman Morse. Motion for Open Session Alderman Darata moved that the meeting go into open session, seconded by Alderman Legaard, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Super, Darata, Beard, Legaard and Flaws. Absent: Alderman Morse. Bill No. 2000-85 Alderman Super moved to place Bill No. 2000-85 on its first Payment of Bills reading, said Bill authorizing the payment of certain indebtedness listed therein, seconded by Alderman Flaws, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Flaws, Darata, Legaard, Beard and Super. Absent: Alderman Morse. Motion carries. Ordinance No. 2000-85 Alderman Flaws moved to place Bill No. 2000-85 on its Approved second reading, and upon passage of same become Ordinance No. 2000-85, seconded by Alderman Darata, the vote was: Aye: Alderman Beard, Legaard, Darata, Flaws and Super. Absent: Alderman Morse. Motion carves. T Ordinance No. 2000-83 Alderman Super moved to place Ordinance No. 2000-83 on Pay Bills -Amended its first reading, said Amended Ordinance authorizing the payment of certain indebtedness listed as therein, seconded by Alderman Darata, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Flaws, Darata, Legaard, Beard and Super. Absent: Alderman Morse. Motion carries. Amended Ordinance Alderman Darata moved to place Ordinance No. 2000-83 on 2000-83 its second reading, and upon passage of same become Approved Amended Ordinance No. 2000-83, seconded by Alderman Legaard, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Flaws, Beard, Legaard, Darata and Super. Absent: Alderman Morse. Motion carves. Discussion on trash bids Def'fenbaugh said they would replace the trashcans and will do better than they had in the past. Approved granting per- Alderman Super moved to give David Blackburn, City mission to City Admire, Administrator permission to proceed with the contract on to proceed with contract Def'fenbaugh, Industries for trash pickup service in We City, on Deffenbaugh, Ind. and forward same to Steve Crystal, City Attorney, seconded by Alderman Darata, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Super, Darata, Beard, Flaws and Legaard. Absent: Andy Morse. Motion carries. "Paychex" to complete Alderman Flaws moved to give permission to David to City payroll proceed with having ~Paychea" prepare the payroll for the Approved City, seconded by Alderman Super the he vote was: Aye: Aldermen Legaard, Darata, Super, Flaws and Beard.
