A RESOLUTION APPROVING A GROUP SALES AGREEMENT WITH ARGOSY
CASINO & HOTEL FOR THE 2025 CITY HOLIDAY CELEBRATION
WHEREAS, the City of Riverside, Missouri desires to hold a holiday celebration for its
employees and officials; and
WHEREAS, Argosy Casino & Hotel has provided a proposed Group Sales Agreement
for the use of its facilities and catering services for the City's Party to be held on December 7,
2025; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for the use of event space and catering services
with a minimum food and beverage expenditure of$6,000 plus applicable tax and service charge,
subject to the terms and conditions set forth therein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Board hereby approves the Group Sales Agreement with Argosy Casino &
Hotel, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for the purpose of
holding the 2025 City's Party on December 7, 2025, and further authorizes the Mayor, City
Administrator, or Human Resources Manager to sign the agreement on behalf of the City; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, and other appropriate City
officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed necessary or
convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to execute and deliver
for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements, and other documents, as
may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri, 17th day of June 2025.
