R-2025-107 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A 2026 INTERNATIONAL MODEL HV507 4X2 TRUCK CAB AND CHASSIS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT THROUGH RUSH TRUCK CENTER OF KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI OFF THE MID AMERICA REGIONAL COUNCIL OF PUBLIC PROCUREMENT GOVERNMENT BID FOR COOPERATIVE FLEET PRICING IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $108,198.00 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has a need to purchase a 2026 International Model HV507, 4X2 truck cab and chassis: and WHEREAS, the City of Riverside in the adoption of its purchasing policy has approved the practice of purchasing equipment from competitive bids awarded by other governmental entities through the cooperative bidding process; and WHEREAS, the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) has competitively bid and awarded a contract to Rush Truck Center. Kansas City, Missouri to purchase such equipment; and WHEREAS, funds for such purpose were budgeted in the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget; and WHEREAS, the City of Riverside finds it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Riverside to authorize and approve the purchase of a 2026 International Model HV507 4X2 truck cab and chassis from Rush Truck Center, Kansas City, Missouri off the MARC Government Equipment Bid List pricing in an amount not to exceed $108,198.00. The International cab & chassis will be purchased from Rush Truck Center of Kansas City which is a MARC fleet bid dealer. BUDGETARY IMPACT: The adopted 2025-2026 fiscal budget included $120,000.00 for the purchase price of the International cab and chassis unit. The total cost of the International cab and chassis is $108,198.00.
