A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO PURCHASE TWO WELLS
CARGO WAGON HD TANDEM TRAILERS THROUGH THE SOURCEWELL NATIONAL
CONTRACT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $20,750.00
WHEREAS, the Police Department has a need for two (2) Wells Cargo Wagon HD
Tandem Trailers, that were approved in the FY 2025-2026 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen ("Board") finds and determines that it is in the best
interest of the City to authorize the purchases herein described.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT, the Board approves the purchase of two (2) Wells Cargo Wagon HD Tandem
trailers, for the Police Department, through the Sourcewell National Contract, in an amount not
to exceed $20,750.00.
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, the Police Chief, and other
appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed
necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to
execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and
other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized,
and the City Clerk is authorized to attest thereto.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri,
the 19th day of August 2025.
