R-2025-149 A RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN EQUIPMENT TO BE SURPLUS, AND AUTHORIZING ITS DISPOSAL WHEREAS, the City of Riverside finds itself in possession of certain equipment that is no longer needed for City operations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: THAT the equipment listed on the attached Surplus List A ("Equipment") is declared surplus. The Equipment shall be disposed in a manner determined by the City Administrator, or his designee, including sale by receipt of sealed bids, public auction, Internet auction, negotiated sale, or donation to a governmental entity, provided however, that if there is no reasonable market value (i.e., the property is worth little of significance) then the equipment may be recycled or discarded. FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, Chief of Police, and other appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized.
