A RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN EQUIPMENT TO BE SURPLUS, AND
AUTHORIZING ITS DISPOSAL
WHEREAS, the City of Riverside finds itself in possession of certain equipment
that is no longer needed for City operations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the equipment listed on the attached Surplus List A ("Equipment") is
declared surplus. The Equipment shall be disposed in a manner determined by the City
Administrator, or his designee, including sale by receipt of sealed bids, public auction,
Internet auction, negotiated sale, or donation to a governmental entity, provided
however, that if there is no reasonable market value (i.e., the property is worth little of
significance) then the equipment may be recycled or discarded.
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, Chief of Police, and other
appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be
deemed necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this
Resolution and to execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates,
instruments, agreements and other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to
perform all matters herein authorized.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri, the 23rd day of September 2025.

The Fire Department finds itself in possession of certain equipment that is no longer needed to
