A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT
FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OFF THE MID-AMERICA REGIONAL COUNCIL'S
GOVERNMENT COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Riverside Police Department identified the need for additional
equipment needed for the staffing requirements for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the
new Live Nation amphitheater.
THAT the Board approves the purchase of five vehicles and two Polaris UTVs for
traffic control and patrols, both on and off -road, in an amount not to exceed $510,000, to
be purchased from the Mid -America Regional Council's Government Cooperative
Purchasing Program.
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, the Police Chief, and other
appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be
deemed necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this
Resolution and to execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates,
instruments, agreements, and other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to
perform all matters herein authorized.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri, the 21st day of October 2025.
