Final Development Plan –

Development Plan for Orizon Aerospace. The company plans to build a
115,00 0 square foot building with the potential to expand another
50,000 square feet. The building will be precast with car parking for
145 vehicles on the south and east sides of the building and truck docks
with screenings on the north side of the building. Signage will be on
two sides of the building. A temporary gravel road will be installed for
fire access in the expansion areas until after building completion.
Commissioner Uhl asked about the timeframe for building expansion.
Mick Slutter from RIC said the company is anticipating private and
military contracts due to the unique equipment that will be
manufactured once the initial building is complete. Expansion will
depend on the amount of contracts obtained.
Commissioner King wanted to where other Orizon plants were located.
Slutter noted that they had a plant in North Kansas City and some in
Oklahoma.
Commissioner Soler wanted to know how the building would expand.
Slutter noted that the initial building design allowed for two more
expansions which would open up part of the building. Wagner pointed
on the design expansion areas on the Power Point presentation.

Commission King wanted to know what would be in the expansion
space before the need for it was determined.
