REGULAR MEETING
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
Thursday, March 13, 2014
7:00 p.m.
The Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Riverside, Missouri, met in regular session at
Riverside City Hall, 2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, Missouri.
Chair Al Bowman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Answering roll call were Al Bowman,
Stephen King, Ray Uhl, Harold Snoderley, Steven Kaspar, Art Homer, Mike Lombardo, Jim Frakes and
Mike Soler. Also present: Jackie Carlson City Planner and Community Development Assistant Sarah
Wagner. Members absent were Mayor Kathy Rose.
Approval of Minutes of January 9, 2014
Commissioner Kaspar moved to approve the minutes of January
9, 2014, seconded by Commissioner Snoderley.
Motion passed 9-0.
Final Plat/Replat- 3700 NW 50th Street
Jackie Carlson explained that this request is related to the original
plat that was approved in October 2013. The applicant has a
potential buyer for the property, but they are requesting that the
rear lot line be extended to the north approximately 30 feet,
increasing the lot size by 5,489 sq.ft.
Commissioner Uhl moved to recommend approval of the Final
Plat/ Replat of 3700 NW 50th Street to the Board of Aldermen,
seconded by Commissioner Soler.
Motion passed 9-0.
Public Hearing-Special Use Permit-Lots 1 & 2 Riverside Horizons West
Chari Bowman opened the public hearing at 7:06 p.m.
Carlson explained that the applicant is requesting that the public
hearing be continued to the April 10, 2014 Planning Commission
meeting.
Commissioner Snoderley moved to continue the public hearing to
April 10, 2014, seconded by Commissioner Homer.
Motion passed 9-0.
General Discussion
Staff and commission members discussed changing the regular
meeting time for the Planning Commission. Commissioner
Frakes moved to change the meeting time to 6:30 p.m., seconded

by Commissioner Kaspar.
Motion passed 9-0.
The new meeting time will be 6:30p.m. effective at the April 10,
2014 meeting.
Adjourn
Commissioner King moved to adjourn at 7:18 p.m.
Commissioner Snoderley seconded and the meeting was adjourn
9-0.
