SPECIAL MEETING
BOARD OF ALDERMEN
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
Thursday, January 29, 2026
12:00 p.m.
The Board of Aldermen for the City of Riverside, Missouri, met in special session in the
Board of Aldermen Conference Room and via Teams at 2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside,
Missouri, on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
CALL TO ORDER Mayor Kathy Rose called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL The City Administrator called the roll. In attendance were
aldermen Steve Palma in person and aldermen Dawn Cockrell, Jill Beck, and Staci Bundy via videoconference. A
quorum was present.
Also present were Human Resources Manager Amy Strough and City Clerk Melissa McChesney.
MOTION TO ENTER CLOSED @ 12:01 P.M.
Alderman Palma moved to enter closed session pursuant to RSMo. 610.021 (3) hiring, firing, disciplining, or promoting a
particular employee, when personal information about the employee is discussed; and RSMo . 610.021(13) individually
identifiable personnel records, performance ratings or records pertaining to employee or applicant for
employment, seconded by Alderman Beck.
Yes: Cockrell, Palma, Beck, Bundy.
Motion carried 4-0.
The Board reconvened in open session.
MOTION TO ADJOURN Alderman Palma moved to adjourn the special meeting at
12:03 p.m.; seconded by Alderman Beck.
Yes: Cockrell, Palma, Beck, Bundy.
