The Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri
met in regular session at Riverside City Hall in said
City on the above date at 7:30 o'clock P.M., the following being
present:
David Brenner Mayor, and
John West, Robert Scudder,
R. Loo Rodeberg, Winston Peeler, Mike Holmes and Jackie Campbell,
Aldermen.
Absent:
The Mayor stated that The Industrial Development Authority
of Platte County, Missouri had approved an application for industrial
development bonds to be issued for Daniels-McCray Lumber Company,
a Missouri corporation (the "Company"), the proceeds of the bond
issue to be used to purchase and construct a lumber processing
and warehouse facility (the "Project"). The Mayor further stated
that under Section 349.010(4), Revised Statutes of Missouri, 1978,
projects of a county authority may be located within the city
limits of a municipality so long as the project is approved by
the governing body of the municipality.
Thereupon, Alderman Rodeberg presented the
following resolution:
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of
Riverside, Missouri, that the Project as described above for
Daniels-McCray Lumber Company to be located inside the City of
Riverside, Missouri be, and the same is hereby approved.
Alderman Rodeberg moved the adoption of the above
resolution and said motion was seconded by Alderman Scudde
Thereupon, the question of the adoption of said resolution
was put and the vote thereon was found to be as follows:
Aye: West, Scudder, Rodeberg, Peeler, Holmes and Campbell
Nay:
The Mayor declared said resolution to be adopted.
