A RESOLUTION DECLARING A MORATORIUM ON ALL NON-RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS
IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA:
WHEREAS: The members of the BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE
MISSOURI, have noticed various types of non-residential buildings in
residential areas throughout the City: and
WHEREAS: in researching existing ordinances and building codes, the
Board of Aldermen finds inadequate guidelines: and
WHEREAS: the Board of Aldermen, in the interest of all of the citizens
in protecting their rights and properties:
BE IT RESOLVID BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN, that a committee be appointed
by the Mayor to investigate, research and recommend appropriate ordinances
which will benefit and improve the community and until this committee reports
to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen and until all appropriate ordinances be
enacted:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI,
a moratorium be declared on all non-residential buildings in a residential
area.
