A RESOLUTION APPROVING TASK ORDER NUMBER 16 WITH MCCLURE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Riverside Board of Aldermen hereby approves Task Order Number 16
by and between the City of Riverside and McClure, in substantially the form attached
hereto, and the Mayor is authorized to execute the Task Order Number 16 on behalf of
the City; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator and other appropriate City
officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed necessary
or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to execute
and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and
other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein
authorized; and
FURTHER THAT this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.

Task Order Number 16
For Engineering Services
This Task Order is entered into as of the 17th day of March, 2026 (the "Effective Date"),
by and between McClure, an Iowa corporation having an office at 1700 Swift St, Suite 100,
North Kansas City, Missouri 64116 ("McClure") and the City of Riverside, Missouri, a Missouri
municipal corporation (the "City").
WHEREAS, the City has engaged McClure to provide engineering services pursuant to
the Agreement for Engineering Services dated October 6. 2020 , pursuant to which the City may
task McClure to provide additional professional engineering services on a project-specific basis
by acknowledging a separate Task Order.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and mutual covenants between the
parties and for other good and valuable consideration the receipt of which is acknowledged by
the parties, they agree as follows:
1. Incorporation of Base Agreement. This Task Order is subject to all terms and conditions
contained in the Agreement for Engineering Services dated October 6, 2020. that are not
inconsistent with the specific terms contained herein, and the Agreement for Engineering
Services dated October 6, 2020, between the parties is incorporated herein as if set forth in
full by this reference.
2. Scope of Services. The Scope of Services pursuant to this Task Order are as contained in
Exhibit A.
3. Term. McClure shall begin work pursuant to this Task Order No. 16 upon its Effective
Date and shall continue until the Gatewoods Flood Benching Study (538-024) and Additional
Riverway Analysis ("Project") is completed as evidenced by final acceptance of the Project
by the City.
4. Compensation. Unless compensation is set forth in this Task Order, compensation shall be
as provided in the Agreement for Engineering Services dated October 6. 2020 , between the
parties. See Exhibit B for compensation schedule.
5. Project Schedule. See project schedule in Exhibit A.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the McClure and the City have executed this Agreement as of the
Effective Date.

Scope of Services for
Survey for Gatewoods Flood Benching
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The City of Riverside desires to remove the houses from 5002 to 5034 NW Woodside Dr (within the Gatewoods
subdivision) from the 1 % Floodplain as noted on FEMA Mapping. This task order provides for survey of work and
review of previously performed analysis to confinn whether a Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA) or Letter of Map
Revision (LOMR) is appropriate.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
1. Proiect Management -McClure will prepare monthly progress reports for City Staff.
2. Meetipgs/Conferepce Calls -McClure will participate in meetings/conference calls with City of
Riverside staff during development of the concept
3. Updated Analysis-McClure will obtain the current effective model from FEMA and incorporate the
survey done in the fall of 2025 after the flood benching occurred above the Ordinary High Water Mark
(OHWM) from the eastern bank of Jumping Branch Creek to the existing trail and confirm that both the
parcels and homes between 5002 and 5034 NW Woodside Dr can be removed from the FEMA effective
floodplain (based on preliminary analysis, it is anticipated that nine (9) parcels will be removed from the
floodplain).
4. LOMR Application & Approval (thru FEMA}-McClure will complete and application for a Letter
of Map Revision (LOMR) and submit the application (with supporting documentation) to FEMA.
McClure will respond to comments from FEMA regarding the LOMR application up to the earlier of (a)
approval ofLOMR or (b) 1 year after initial submittal ofLOMR application.
5. Proiect Schedule (assuming NTP by 03/18/2026)
• Updated Analysis done on or before May 18, 2026.
NOTE: assumes receipt of Current Effective Model from FEMA within one (1) month of request
• Initial Submittal ofLOMRApplication to FEMA by June 18, 2026.
6. Exclusions
• No Design
• No Construction Services
• No Permit Fees
• No Public outreach or public presentation work included.

It is also assumed this project would be incorporated into biweekly meeting & currently held with City Staff (from 3/12 lo 6/25)... averaging 0.5hrs for two (2) people (on 3/5, 3/19, 412, 4/16, 4/30, 5/14, 5/28, 6/11 & 6/25) .. 9 meetings total
Lastly, it is assumed up lo one (1} additional meeting will be needed for coordination during the proceas... avaraging 0.5hrs tor two (2) people (1 meeting total)
