HomeMy WebLinkAbout2026-03-05 Special Meeting MinutesMINUTES REGULAR MEETING BOARD OF ALDERMEN RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI Tuesday, March 5, 2026 3:15 p.m. The Board of Aldermen for the City of Riverside, Missouri, met in special session in the Board of Aldermen Conference Room and via videoconference at 2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, Missouri, on Thursday, March 5, 2026. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Kathy Rose called the special meeting to order at 3:15 p.m. ROLL CALL The City Clerk called the roll. In attendance were aldermen Dawn Cockrell, Jill Beck, Staci Bundy, and Jason Draut. Also present were City Administrator Greg Mills, Community Development Director Mike Duffy, and City Clerk Melissa McChesney. LEGISLATIVE SESSION BILL NO. 2026-021 Temporary Liquor Permits City Clerk Melissa Mcchesney gave the first reading of Bill No. 2026-004, an ordinance amending City Code Chapter 600 by adding a new Subsection 600.080.E to delegate authority to the City Clerk to administratively review and issue certain temporary liquor permits. Alderman Cockrell moved to accept the first reading and place Bill No. 2026-021 on second and final reading; seconded by Alderman Beck. Yes: Cockrell, Beck, Bundy, Draut. Motion carried: 4-0. Alderman Cockrell moved to approve Bill No. 2026-021 and enact said bill as ordinance; seconded by Alderman Draut. Yes: Cockrell, Beck, Bundy, Draut. Motion carried: 4-0. I MOTION TO ADJOURN Alderman Draut moved to adjourn the meeting at 3:17 p.m.; seconded by Alderman Beck. Yes: Cockrell, Beck, Bundy, Draut.
