ORDINANCE NO.~~-~'
AN ORDINANCE DECLARING UNLAWFUL TO MAINTAIN TRASH CANS, GARBAGE
CANS, GARBAGE BAGS, OR REFUSE DISPOSAL RECEPTACLES IN CERTAIN
PLACES WITHIN THE CITY FOR A PERIOD IN EXCESS OF 48 HOURS AND
PROVIDING CRIMINAL PENALTIES THEREFORE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, partner-
ship or corporation to maintain upon the public right-of-way
or upon any land situated within twenty (20) feet of any
public street or public highway any trash cans, garbage cans,
garbage bags, or refuse disposal receptacles within the City
of Riverside, Missouri. b/'r/_l ~-e ~`~
Section 2. All persons who violate this ordinance shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction, shall be subject
to a fine of not more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) or
confinement in the :City: jail for a period of not more than
Ninety (90) days or by both such fine and confinement.
Section 3. Anew Code Section shall be added denominated
PROHIBITING TRASH CONTAINERS UPON OR WITHIN 20 FEET OF
RIGHT OF WAY
