AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING A CERTIFICATE PRIOR TO OCCUPANCY FOR
ANY MOBILE HOME, COURT OR TRAILER AND PROVIDING CRIMINAL
PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI AS FOLLOiVS:
Section 1. No trailer or trailer home court hereafter
erected or altered shall be occupied and used until a
certificate of occupancy has been issued by the Board of
Aldermen.
Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are applicable
only to District E and not to any other zoning district.
Section 3. The certificate of occupancy shall be issued
only after the Board of Aldermen makes a finding that the
trailer or mobile home court has been erected, built or
altered in compliance with the provisions of the zoning
commission of the City of Riverside, Missouri, the ordinances
of the city and other health and building laws and in accordance
with the building permit.
Section 4. It shall be the responsibility of the owner
or lessee to make application for certificates of occupancy
to the Board of Aldermen.
Section 5. Any person violating any provision of this
ordinance shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $100.00
or imprisonment in the City Jail or in the County Jail, if
there be no city jail, not exceed 90 days, or by both such
fine and imprisonment and cost.
Section 6. Should any section, paragraph, sentence,
clause or phrase of this ordinance be declared unconstitutional
or invalid for any reason, the remainder of said ordinance
shall not be affected thereof.
