AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14 OF THE NUISANCE ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, PROHIBITING ABOVE GROUND
STORAGE OF GASOLINE, DECLARING ABOVE GROUND STORAGE OF
GASOLINE TO BE A NON CONFORMING USE AND PROHIBITING ADDITION
OR ENLARGEMENT IN THE EXISTING ABOVE GROUND STORAGE OF
GASOLINE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Anew section of the city code of the
City of Riverside, Missouri, is hereby enacted to read
as follows:
14.3a ABOVE GROUND GASOLINE STORAGE.
Section 1. No above ground gasoline storage tanks
s all be permitted.
Section 2. Any above ground storage tanks of gasoline
now existing shall be considered a non conforming use
and the maintenance of said existing storage facilities
shall not be an ordinance, violation or grounds
for action pursuant to Section 14.15 through 14.20
of this code.
Section 3. No existing above ground storage of
gasoline shall be added to or replaced.
Section 2. All ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
add Section 14.3a into the Code of the City of Riverside,
Missouri.
