AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING THE CERTIFICATION OF THE APRIL 7, 2026,
ELECTION RESULTS RECEIVED FROM THE PLATTE COUNTY BOARD OF
ELECTION COMMISSIONERS
WHEREAS, an election was held within the City on April 7, 2026, for the purpose
of electing a mayor one member of the Board of Aldermen from each Ward within the
City; and
WHEREAS, the City received a Certificate of Election from the Platte County
Board Election Commissioners declaring the results of the 2026 Riverside General
Municipal Election; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it in the best interest of the City to accept
and ratify such election results as presented .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 -DECLARATION AND RATIFICATION OF APRIL 7 , 2026 ,
ELECTION RESULTS. That the Certificate of Election results received from the Platte
County Board of Election Commissioners declaring the results of the 2025 Riverside
General Municipal Election are hereby received and ratified by the City of Riverside as
follows:

SECTION 2 -REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT. All ordinances or parts
of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 -SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. The provisions of this ordinance are
severable and if any provision hereof is declared invalid, unconstitutional or unenforceable,
such determination shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this ordinance.
BILL NO. 2026-029 ORDINANCE NO. 2163
SECTION 4 -EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
BE IT REMEMBERED that the above was read two times by heading only, passed
and approved by a majority of the Board of Aldermen and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Riverside, Missouri, this 21 st day of April 2026.

for the Platte County Board of Election Commissioners, election
authority of the County of Platte, hereby certify the above and
foregoing to be a true, correct and complete abstract of all the
votes cast in said County for the
City of Riverside
during the GENERAL MUNICIPAL Election held on the Seventh
day of April 2026, as shown by the returns made to the office by
the judges of election of the different voting precincts in said
County, and as verified by the Verification Board on the Tenth day
of April 2026, as provided in Section 115.507 and 115.499(1)
