AN ORDINANCE FR ESCRIBING THE MANNER IN WHICH THE JUDGES OF
ELECTION SHALL MAKE RETURNS OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE
HELD IN TF~ CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, ON DECEMBER 2,
1952.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF AID ERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWSs
Section 1. After all votes cast in the special election
to be held in the City of Riverside, Missouri, on the 2nd
day of December, 1952, on the proposition to extend the city
limits of the City of Riverside have been counted, the number
cast in favor of the proposition to extend the boundaries of
the City of Riverside shall be tallied by the judges, and the
number of votes cast against the proposal to extend the
boundaries of tha City of Riverside shall be tallied by the
judges and the total number of votes cast in favor of the
proposal and the total number of votes cast against the pro-
posal shall be recorded in proper books to be furnished the
judges. These records shall be certified to by the judges
and the judges acting as clerks on the forms provided for in
said record books and filed with the city clerk either on the
day of the election or on the following day. These returns
shall be canvassed by the Board of Aldermen at its next meet-
ing following the election and the results thereof declared by
ordinance.
