Filer, Sr. was elected to the office of Mayor, L. Ii. Young. i~ras elected to the office of Alderma: for the g'irst 1•Jard, Mrs. Frances Clark i~ras elected to the office of Alderman for the Second ward; T:rs. ilelen A. Brophy was elected to the office of City Collector; D. B. Swetna~niras elected to the office of Police Judge, and C. E. P,twell bras elected to the office of i'iarshall and < ach of the ~; to s -rve for a t err~l of two years or :zntil their successors are elected and cualified and they, accordin`- to said returns are entitled to certificates of election to be issued by the City Clerk. Section 3. That upon the face of said returns of the judges, Porville D;elson and G. i~:. Prince, Candidates for aldernar~ for the Third ',-lard, each received an equal number of votes and that, therefore, a tie exists as result of such election between said candidates for such office. Section I}.. The City Clerk is h re'oy directed to issue certificates of election to each of the above named successful candid~.tes certifying; their election to their respective offices and for the-terms above set forth.
