Ordinance No. 3~
An ordinance prescribin rules for the parking of
a trailer upon private property and providing a fee for the
issuance of a permit therefor and a penalty for the violation
of tre terms hereof.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF' ALDER~_EP; OF THE CITY
OF RI`TERSIDE, P•L~50URI AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It is hereby decreed to be unlawful
for any person to }aermit any trailer to be parked upon any
private property which is not zoned for trailer usage or is a
non-conforming trailer park within the City of Riverside, P~iissouri
unless such trailer shall be parked no closer to the street than
the front buildinm line on said property and unless such person
parking such trailer shall have obtained a permit from the
Board of Aldermen to park said trailer on said private property.
Section 2. The fee for the issuance of such permit
shall be TGJO'.~~IID ~~/100 (x2.50) }30LLARS and an additional fee of
TWO AND 50/loo (:~p2.50) DOLI~.RS SMALL be paid for each extension of
such permit.
Section 3. Such permit shall allow the parking
of such trailer for a period of fifteen (15) days from the date
of such permit. An additional extension of fifteen (15) days can
be granted upon an_rlication if deemed desirable by the Board of
Aldermen.
Section L{.. No such trailer shall be occupied
as living quarters while so parked.
Section 5. Any person violating the terms of this
ordinance shall be subject to a fine not exceeding; ONE HUPdDRED
0100.00) DOLL.~!RS or~9imp~cisdnPnent in jail of not more than 90 days
or both such fine and imprisonment, and each dayts violation shall
be deemed to be a separate offense.
