AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 171-2 OF THE CITY OF RIVER-
SIDE AND PRESCRIBING RULES GOVERNING THE PARKING OF TRAVEL-TRAILERS,
BOAT TRAILERS, UTILITY TRAILERS AND CAMPERS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY,
AND A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF THE TERMS THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF TIE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 171-2 of the City of Riverside is
hereby repealed.
Section 2. It shall be lawful for any unoccupied travel-
trailer, boat trailer, utility trailer or camper to be parked on
private property which is not zoned for trailer usage. No such
trailer shall be parked closer to the public street than the front
building line on said property. If any camper is removed from a
truck, it must be stored behind the front building line.
Section 3. No such trailer or camper, while so parked, shall
be used or occupied as living quarters.
Section 4. Any person desiring to park any such trailer or
camper shall first obtain a permit from the Board of Aldermen to
park such trailer or camper. Such permit shall designate the lo-
cation where the parking of such trailer or camper will be per-
mitted. The term of such permit shall be one year and the fee to
be charged for the issuance thereof shall be $ 7?~-~--
Section 5. Any person violating the terms of this ordinance
shall be subject to a fine not exceeding One Hundred Dollars and
imprisonment in jail of not more than 90 days,or-.both such fine
and imprisonment, and each day's violation shall be deemed to be
a separate offense.
