AN ORDINANCE CANVASSING THE RETURNS OF THE JUDGES OF THE GENERAL
CITY ELECT ON HELD ON APRIL 5, 1955, FOR CITY OFFICES AHD
DECLARINIG THE RESULTS THEREOF AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE
OF CERTIFICATES OF ELECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Board of Aldermen of the City
of Riverside does hereby canvass the returns of the judges of the
generel city election held on April 5, 1955, for City Offices and.
finds and declares that on the face of the returns of said judges
the results of the said general election to be as follows:

E. T. Traugott 49 - - 49
Victor Panus 40 - - 40
Earl Powell 1 - - 1
Winston Klamm - 27 - 27
Bess Brenner - 2 - 2
W. T. Scrivner - - 58 58
Section 2. That upon the face of the returns of the
judges, E. T. Traugott was elected to the office of Alderman for
the first ward; Winston Klamm was elected to the office of
Alderman for the second ward; and W. T. Scrivner was elected to the
office of Alderman for the third ward, and each of them for a term of
two years or until their successors are elected and qualified and
they, according to said returns are entitled to certificates of
election to be issued by the City Clerk.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to issue
certificates of election to each of the above named successful candidates
certifying their election to their respective offices and for the
terms above set forth
