AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING REGULATIONS TO BE COMPLIED WITH BY THE KEEPERS OF BILLIARD OR POOL TABLES WITHIN THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, AND PRESCRIBING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE TERMS HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. All persons keeping or permitting to be kept in premises under their control any billiard or pool table for use by members of the general public shall comply in all respects with the following rules: (a) All such tables shall be kept in a roan which shall have not less than twelve square feet of glass in the wall which affords a clear view into the interior of said room from the public street or sidewalk upon which the building in which said room is located shall front. (b) All such roans shall be kept well lighted during all times that said tables shall be either in use or available for use by members of the public. (c) No gambling of any sort shall be permitted in the room in which such tables are kept, nor shall any betting be permitted in connection with the use of such tables. (d) No minors under the age of ~ 7 years shall be permitted to use such tables without the prior written consent from the parents or guardian of said minor. (e) The consumption of any beverage containing alcohol in excess of 1% by volume shall not be permitted in any room in which such tables are kept. Section 2. Any person violating the terms of this ordinance shall be subject to arrest and upon conviction shall be subject to a fine of not more than $100.00 or thirty (30) days imprisonment in the City jail, or both such fine and imprisonment and costs. Section 3.
