That the Board of Aldermen does hereby canvass the return of the judges of the general Cite election held on April 6,1965, for the City offices and finds and declsre~ that on the face of the returns of the said juG~;es therestults of the s^id ~ener•Q 1 electior, to be as follows: OFFICE Ward 1 Ward II :JardIIl Adle rrnar. Warren Brenner 95 Darrell L. Shelton 64 Helen Brenner ' 24 Julia F. EskridF;e ~',~ 42 David Lester Swetnam 33 Section 2. That upon the face of the rst~_rrns of the judges, Warren Brenner was elected to the office of Alderman of Ward i; Julia B. Esk_rid~;e was elected to the office of Alderman of ward II; and David L©ster Swetnam was elected to office of flId©rman for Ward III, and each of them to serve for a term of two years or until their successors are e~.ected and qualified and they, accordingly to said returns are entitled to certificates oi' election to be 3.ssuCd by the C ity C1erM. Section 3. That upon the face oz' said reutrn of the fudges, the City Clerk is hereby directed to is:!ue certificate=s of election t~~ e^~~h of the rbove named successful candidates certii'ying their election to their respective offices and for the tears above sat forth.
