Ordinance No. 333-16
An ordinance canvassing the returns of the judges of the
General Election held on April !~, 1967, for City offices and declaring
results thereof and providing for issuance of dertificates of election.
BE IT O RDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THECITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Board of Aldermen does hereby canvass
the return of the judges of the General City Election held on April l},
1967, for the City Offices and finds and declares that on the face of
the returns of the said judges theresults of the said General Election
to be a s follows:

Section 2. That upon the face of the returns of the Judges,
Darrell Shelton was elected to the office of Alderman of Ward I,
Julia B. Eskridge was elected to the office of Alderman of Ward IT;
and David L. Swetnam was elected to office of Alderman for Ward III;
and each of them to serve for a term ofiwo years or until their successors
are elected and qualified and they, accordingly to said returns, are
entitled to certificates of election to be issued b~ the City Clerk.
Section 3. That upon the face of said return of the judges,
the City Clerk is hereby directed to issue a ertificates'of election
to each of the above named successful candidates certifying their
electior. to their respective offices and for the terms above set forth.

Dear Mr. Paulhe:
We are enclosing for your files an approved copy of the
Plan and Agreement and a copy of the Ordinance to extend
Social Security coverage to the employees of the City of
Riverside.
We are requesting Federal approval of this agreement which
will require approximately two months. At that time you will
receive an identification number and report blanks.
` - Since July 1, 1957 has been designated as the effective date,
we would suggest that you secure contributions from the em-
ployees and from the City, as employer. For the years 1957
and 1958 contributions will be at the rate of 4~o with the
employee contributing ~o and the city contributing ~2/~0. For
the yeas 1959 contributions will be at the rate of 5!0 of total
wa,g~/es, the employee contributing 2~o and the city contributing
22/0. Please hold these contributions until you receive your
identification number and report blanks.

know.
